A truly stunning 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 MkI that has previously undergone a full nut and bolt rebuild to show standard. Upon inspection it's easy to see the passion and determination it took to get this car to it's current condition. A thousand or so hours and tens of thousands of pounds have produced a car like no other that would be an honour to have in your collection.
Registered in the UK in 1989 as a Historic Vehicle, this Healey was produced for the US market and has since been meticulously converted to RHD. The car is registered with the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust and comes with a Certification of Factory Record. The factory fitted equipment include: wire wheels, heater, adjustable steering column, front number plate, roadspeed tyres, laminated windscreen, overdrive.
The rebuild was fully documented complete with hundreds of photographs categorised into each stage of the build, telling a great story of how this car evolved and the attention to detail that was present throughout the entire process.
A great effort has been taken to ensure the car is original as possible whilst catering for modern day road conditions. The non-standard features to allow for this are: Brake Servo (Standard on MkIII), MkIII Cam, Electronic Distributor, Air Horns and a Negative Earth.
